Marianne K. Jones is an experienced business litigator in many
areas of the law. She has litigated cases in general business disputes including commercial purchase and sales, partnership and corporate dissolution, consumer protection, fraudulent conveyance, fraud in the inducement, construction/contractor liability, and securities fraud. Ms. Jones practices litigation mainly in the States of Washington and Oregon, including Superior, Circuit, District, Supreme Courts, United States District Courts, as well as extensive experience in the Court of Appeals. Ms. Jones' also has experience in practicing litigation in the States of Oregon, Illinois, Arkansas, and California and the Federal Circuit.

In the employment law area, Ms. Jones focuses on teaching employers federal and state requirements under the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and State and Federal Employment Acts, and regulations relating to Labor and Industries Employment Security, and the Fair Labor Standards Practices Act. She has represented employers in each of these areas but emphasizes preventative practices for employers. 

Ms. Jones' real estate practice includes litigation in residential easement and boundary line disputes, commercial real estate misrepresentation, and certain land use disputes with King and Snohomish counties. She reviews both commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements in order to prevent future litigation. 

Ms. Jones received her jurisdoctorate degree from the University of Puget Sound School of Law, now known as Seattle University Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington. 

She is a member of the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations but has litigated cases in Illinois, Arkansas, California, and South Carolina as associate counsel. Her other professional memberships include Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (member 12 years) and Washington Women Lawyers. Her business memberships have included Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Venture Group, and Eastside Women's Forum. Ms. Jones is the managing member of Jones Law Group, P.L.L.C. Ms. Jones also serves as an arbitrator for the King County Superior Court Mandatory Arbitration Department.  

Ms. Jones has received the honor of a BV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is defined as "an indication of a well-established practice, a significant client base and high professional standing
